Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar has reiterated Pakistan's firm commitment to further enhance its multidimensional strategic partnership with Turkiye, especially in the economic domain, reported 24NewsHD TV channel

In a felicitation message to people of Turkiye on the occasion of the 100th Republic Day of the country, he said we have taken concrete steps to further solidify economic ties with Turkiye, including the signing of the Trade in Goods Agreement (TGA) and the Strategic Economic Framework (SEF).

The Prime Minister said robust economic partnership and strengthened connectivity will serve as important pillars to steer our bilateral relationship in years ahead.

PM Kakar highlighted that Pakistan and Turkiye enjoy fraternal relations rooted in abiding ties of religion, culture and history.

He said institutional mechanisms including the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council (HLSCC) and the Strategic Economic Framework (SEF) have provided a leadership-driven, people-centric and future-oriented focus to steer Pak-Turkiye bilateral partnership in areas such as defence, economy, health, education, agriculture, tourism and culture.

He praised the impressive strides made by Turkiye during the last one hundred years, especially under the dynamic leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Shehbaz Sharif says democratic, prosperous Türkiye is a factor of stability in region

Former prime minister and PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif on Sunday congratulated Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Republic, saying that a democratic and prosperous Türkiye is a factor of stability in the region and the Islamic world, especially at a time of massive global tumult.

In a tweet posted on X (formerly Twitter), former premier Shehbaz Sharif wrote: “It is my pleasure to congratulate my brother H.E. President Tayyip Erdogan and the people of Türkiye on the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Republic.

“Today we reflect on and celebrate the massive strides Türkiye has made in different fields of life. The 100 years has [sic] witnessed many tests and trials for the Turkish brothers and sisters. Unfazed by the enormity of the challenges, they persevered and turned the problems into opportunities.

“A democratic and prosperous Türkiye is a factor of stability in the region and the Islamic world, especially at a time of massive global tumult. With shared history and common faith, our brotherhood defies all description, for Pakistan and Türkiye aptly fit the formulation of One Nation living in two states.

“I pay rich tributes to all those who have shed “blood, toil, tears and sweat” in the development of Türkiye, starting from its founder Mustafa Kemal Ataturk to President Tayyip Erdogan @RTErdogan

Punjab CM says Pakistan, Turkiye enjoy unique story of friendship and love

Punjab Chief Minister Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi also congratulated to the leadership and people of Turkiye on the 100th National Day of the Republic.

In his message, CM Naqvi said that the 100th anniversary of Turkiye’s Republic Day is a source of great joy for Pakistanis. He said that Turkiye is an important Islamic country on the world scene. The efforts of the Turkish people and leadership for the development of Turkey are commendable, he added.

The chief minister said that Pakistan and Turkiye enjoy a unique story of friendship and love. He said that both countries stand side by side for support and cooperation in every difficult hour.

He said the government is trying to promote mutual partnership and brotherhood between Pakistan and Turkiye. He eulogized the wonderful services of various Turkish institutions in Punjab.

He said both Pakistan and Turkiye are Islamic brothers which have the same culture, history, and civilization, so our friendship is ideal.
