Lahore-bound Turkish plane makes emergency landing in Baku

A Turkish Airlines plane bound for Lahore made an emergency landing in Azerbaijan capital of Baku on emergency ground on Tuesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The flight which took off from Istanbul soon contacted air traffic controller (ATC) at the Baku International Airport seeking permission for landing as one of its passengers fell sick.
The pilot landed the plane at the Baku airport where medical staff was on stand by to deal with the situation.
After examining the patient, the doctor pronounced his dead, saying he died even before the plane was landed.
After completing formalities, the plane resumed its journey to Lahore where it landed three hours behind schedule.
