CM Naqvi urges people to stop being pessimistic as Pakistan will develop

Punjab Chief Minister Syed Mohsin Naqvi urged the people to stop being pessimistic about Pakistan and work for its development.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, CM Naqvi addressed the Rahmat Ul Lil Alameen (SAW) Conference in Lahore on Thursday.
Addressing the gathering of religious scholars at the conference, CM Naqvi said that the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) was never disappointed and true followers of the holy prophet could also not disappoint at any stage.
Showing some optimistic side of the development of the country, CM Naqvi also announced that rice exports from Punjab would reach two billion dollars this year, doubling the amount from last year.
CM Naqvi stressed the importance of protecting the rights of minorities and said that after the Jardanwala incident, Christians were allowed to worship in mosques in the morning.
He said that the Prophet Muhammad laid the foundation of the Riyasat-e-Tayyaba (Holy State) and if people believed even one word of his teachings, their lives would change.
Later, CM Naqvi visited the Alhambra Arts Council at Mall Road and saw a calligraphy exhibition at the Al-Hamra Art Gallery in connection with the celebrations of 12 Rabi-ul-Awwal.
He expressed deep interest in the art of calligraphy of the name of Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) and appreciated the artists for their high-quality work.
Secretary Information Ali Nawaz Malik presented a souvenir of beautiful calligraphy to CM Naqvi. Provincial Ministers Azfar Ali Nasir, Amir Mir, Mansoor Qadir, and Secretaries of Awqaf, Information and other officials were also present on this occasion.
