PTI workers clash with police at Attock Bridge

PTI workers clashed with police near Attock Bridge on Saturday as they tried to reach Rawalpindi to attend party’s protest demonstration at Liaquat Bagh, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

A caravan of PTI workers travelling from different Punjab cities to Rawalpindi found the road blocked at Attock Bridge.

After an exchange of hot words, they clashed with the police which fired tear-gas shells to disperse them.

Earlier, the Attock District Administration imposed Section 144 in the city and sealed all the entry and exit points while several hurdles were placed on GT Road and Motorway M-I to prevent vehicles and people from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to travel to Rawalpindi.
