Maulana Thanvi ditches PTI, joins PPP

Ex-senator Maulana Tanveer-ul-Haq Thanvi on Tuesday left the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaaf and joined Pakistan People’s Party, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Maulana Thanvi announced his decision to join the Pakistan People’s Party after his meeting with PPP Sindh President Nisar Khoro. 

The Maulana was elected as a senator on the Muttahida Qaumi Movement ticket. A few months ago, he joined the PTI.

Nisar Khoro hailed Mr. Thanvi’s decision of joining the PPP.
