Two-year-old missing Jhelum girl found dead in pond

The body of two-year-old girl Alia, who had allegedly been abducted the other day, was Friday recovered from a pond near a forest in Jhelum, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The family of the girl had suspected kidnapping in their complaint to the police after she went missing.
The body of the girl was shifted to the hospital for post-mortem.
The police said that they could not say anything about how the girl died.
“An abduction case had been registered on the complaint of the girl’s mother,” they added.
