Courts to remain closed on election day in Lahore

The Lahore High Court and its subordinate courts will remain closed on February 8, the day of the general elections in the country, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to a notification issued by the registrar of the Lahore High Court, the closure has been approved by the Chief Justice of Lahore High Court.

The notification applies to the Lahore High Court, its regional benches and all sessions and civil courts in the province.
