The sole bridge at Kohlia over the Haro River that connects several villages, including Gar Jhama, Qibla Bandi, Bhala Balan, Shan Gali, Mohriyan, and others, was swept away by floodwaters.

According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, the loss of the bridge has severely disrupted daily life, as children can no longer attend school and adults find it difficult to reach work.

Local residents now face the dangerous task of crossing through canal waters, which could lead to severe accidents at any moment.

"Our children cannot go to school, and we struggle to get to work when it rains," lamented one of the affected villagers.

The villagers are urging the government to construct a new and elevated bridge to ensure safety during floods and to alleviate the ongoing hardships they are facing.
