The Taif Rose Festival, as it does every year, started in Saudi Arabia’s city of Taif, famous as a leading producer of rose fragrances in the Middle East.
This festival is organised by Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Culture and takes place every April.
The festival will run through May 5, giving visitors plenty of opportunity to enjoy the splendour of these flowering blooms.
For those who are unaware, Taif is widely regarded as the Middle East's top maker of rose scents.
This figure is not far-fetched, as there are over 900 farms that produce over 300 million blooms each year between March and April.
Furthermore, these flowers are distilled and processed into oils, which are used by top perfume brands such as Givenchy.
