Former interior minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmad has predicted that next two months are very important for economy and politics while the government will have to revise its policies, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Talking to the media outside an anti-terrorism court in Rawalpindi on Tuesday, Sheikh Rashid said that politics will show its colours within next two months but situation is worse than bad.
He said that he has no meeting or contact with any political leader including founder Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
Sheikh Rashid said that there is no post of deputy prime minister in the Constitution of Pakistan.
Talking about the case against him, he said that more than 300 people are involved in this case and he demands that cases based on false testimonies should be eliminated.
If someone is guilty, he should be punished accordingly and those who are innocent should be released, Sheikh Rashid said.
He said that the wheat brought to Pakistani in ship is 1,500 tons less and the ships are running away after offloading less wheat at the Karachi port.
“I request National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to investigate what is happening there,” said Sheikh Rashid.
“The industrialists and shopkeepers were crying but now the farmers are also crying.
I challenge that no wheat policy has been made and not even 1kg of wheat has been procured from farmers.”
Sheikh Rashid claimed that no wheat has been bought from the landlords while the cultivators are very worried.
