More flooding feared in Rajanpur, DG Khan, Layyah

The flood situation is still alarming in different rivers and barrages of the country, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

According to the Indus River System Authority (IRSA) officials, water level has further increased at Taunsa Barrage over River Indus where it has been recorded at over 622, 000 cusecs. 

More flooding is feared in Rajanpur, Layyah and Dera Ghazi Khan following the development. 

On the other hand, there is extremely high flood in River Kabul where the water flow has been recorded at over 258, 000 cusecs.  

Similarly, increase has been noticed in the water flow at Guddu and Sukkur barrages. 

The IRSA officials have informed that the flow of water at Guddu has reached 512, 000 cusecs whereas at Sukkur it has reached over 530, 000 cusecs.
