There was a sharp drop in mercury as various areas of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) continued to receive snowfall on the mountains especially in Neelum and Leepa Valleys, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.

Last night Muzaffarabad, high-altitude areas including Neelum, Taobat, Hilmat, Nikar, Shonthar, Graise and Sargan received heavy snowfall turning the mountaintops completely white.

A large number of visitors and tourists have thronged the Jhelum Valley of AJK to spend time in the picturesque and scenic valley amid freezing temperatures.
