The Capital Development Authority (CDA) declared Islamabad’s Sanabil Garden Housing Society as illegal because its plots were sold and advertised without seeking approval from Authority, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.

Sanabil Garden was a large residential project on Enclave Road which had started selling plots without planning completion of legal formalities.

Meanwhile, Al-Safa Marketing presented itself as the sales partner of Sanabil Garden.

The CDA served notice to this unauthorized and illegal project.

The notice detailed that Sanabil Garden is selling plots of various sizes in zone four.

Moreover, notices were also issued to Deputy Commissioner, Police, Registrar Companies, Director Building and Enforcement.

The CDA directed all institutions to take stern action against the illegal societies in the periphery of Islamabad and submit a report.

Plots cannot be sold until the colony's master plan is authorized, said the CDA Chairman Captain (Rtd) Muhammad Usman, and called the sale of them illegal.
