Foreign envoys briefed on security situation in Islamabad

The Pakistani authorities Friday briefed the foreign diplomats and ambassadors on the current security situation of the country, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

As per the official sources, more than 100 foreign ambassadors and diplomats participated in the briefing.

Islamabad Inspector General of Police (IGP) Nasir Akbar Khan conducted the briefing.

“The security arrangements in the federal capital are very good,” he briefed.

“The foreign nationals can move freely [in Islamabad],” he stated.

The ambassadors and diplomats raised questions on different issues. The Pakistani authorities answered them.

They were also briefed about the progress of investigation into the blast in Sector I-10.

The ambassadors and diplomats described the briefing as satisfactory.
