Covid traces detected in wastewater of int’l flights

The National Health Institute (NIH) has decided to examine the wastewater from international flights after Covid-19 traces were detected, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The NIH issued a circular on Monday to the aviation authorities in this respect, asking for samples of the wastewater from international flights.
The NIH directed the Civil Aviation Authority to set up a regular sample collecting system, whereas training and equipment for sample collection will be provided by the NIH.
To collect the samples, sentry workers will receive jerry cans, gloves, long shoes, facemasks, and face shields.
It was also stated in the letter that aviation would notify the NIH of the international flight wastewater disposal protocol.
