CM Maryam announces free electric bikes for players of Khelta Punjab Games

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has announced to award free electric bikes to all and participants of Khelta Punjab Games, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.

Addressing the inaugural ceremony of last round of Khelta Punjab Games, Maryam Nawaz said that government is promoting healthy activities and sports.

She said for the promotion of games in Punjab government will provide all essential resources including stadiums and play grounds.

I want to see the youth of Punjab playing and moving forward and these boys and girls have reached here achieving success from different platforms, Maryam Nawaz said.

“I want to see children studying and playing”, Maryam Nawaz said.

She said this is not the opening ceremony of the Punjab Games but a revolution is beginning in sports.

Young boys and girls are the future of Pakistan sports and I am sure that these boys and girls will keep the flag of the country high, Maryam Nawaz said.

Maryam Nawaz said for the first time, inter-club competitions have been held in Punjab and about 15,000 clubs have participated in these competitions. 

I congratulate the Sports Minister, DG Sports and the entire team on organizing successful games, said Maryam Nawaz.

I am ready to increase the sports budget so that these players should not lack anything, Maryam Nawaz said.

The Chief Minister said that I want to see my children winning not only at the national but also at the international level. 

She said government is restoring Horse and Cattle Show which will be launched on February 7, Maryam Nawaz announced.
