JUI committee on talks to PTI meets

JUI committee formed to take up the matter of negotiations with the PTI met with Senator Kamran Murtaza in the chair on Monday, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported.

According to a spokesperson for the JUI, Maulana Lutfur Rahman, Aslam Ghori, Maulana Amjad Khan and Mufti Fazal Ghafoor participated in the meeting.

The political situation of the country was discussed in the meeting, the spokesperson said, adding that the PTI ties with JUI were welcomed while the body mulled over the talks procedure.

The committee will present the proposals of the meeting to JUI chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman on his return home.
