NHA increases toll tax on motorways: New rates effective from July 1

The National Highway Authority (NHA) has announced another increase in toll tax for vehicles travelling on motorways that will be implemented from tomorrow, July 1.
According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, the toll tax on the Islamabad-Peshawar Motorway (M-1) will see significant hikes from tomorrow.
According to the NHA, the toll tax for cars on the M-1 will be increased from Rs. 240 to Rs. 350. Vans will see an increase from Rs. 400 to Rs. 550, while the toll for coasters and Mazdas will rise from Rs. 550 to Rs. 700.
Buses will have their toll tax raised from Rs. 790 to Rs. 1000, and trucks will face an increase from Rs. 1040 to Rs. 1300. Trailers will see their toll tax go up from Rs. 1270 to Rs. 1500.
