Tuba Anwar, an ex-wife of late Dr Amir Liaquat, has expressed resentment over the raise in airline taxes.
She shared an Instagram story that states: ‘Na Mulk mei Sakoon se Rahein na Mulk se Bahir Jane ka Sochein’ ( that translates: Neither can live with peace in the country, nor think of leaving it)

Her clip indicates an unprecedented increase in air travel tax, which went viral.
The public has reacted to her story in affirmation, responding that these taxes are unjustified and that it is becoming increasingly difficult to cope with rampant inflation.
Syeda Tubha Anwar is a Pakistani actress who joined the industry not long ago in 2020 with her drama serial ‘Bahraas’ in which she played a significant role. Since then, she has been part of numerous other dramas which include ‘Baby Baji’ and ‘Mohabat Satrangi.’

The government has raised taxes on domestic flights to Rs 12,500, and for flights departing to America, Canada, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand, an increase of Rs 210,000 is to be observed from 1st July 2024.
