Another consignment of corona vaccine reaches Pakistan

Another consignment of a corona vaccine, Sinovac, reached Pakistan from China on Sunday.

According to 24NewsHD TV Channel, a special plane of the Pakistan International Airline (PIA) took the consignment to the Islamabad airport.

Pakistan bought half of a million doses of Sinovac vaccine from a private company of China. Sources in the Pakistani Health Ministry confirmed that such a vaccine consignment was not free of cost.

Last Sunday, Pakistan brought a consignment of two million doses of Sinovac vaccine from China, reports said, citing Qadir Bux Sangi, PIA Country Manager Qadir Bux Sangi.

Reiterated Chinese resolve to continue helping Pakistan fight off coronavirus, a spokesperson said Beijing has always attached great importance to Pakistan's demand for vaccines to help fight the pandemic.
