Swat’s royal family head Miangul Adnan Aurangzeb died in traffic accident

Head of the former royal family of Swat Valley and former Member National Assembly (MNA) Miangul Adnan Aurangzeb has been killed in a traffic accident on Monday.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, Adnan Aurangzeb was going to Islamabad after giving a lecture at Haripur University.
The royal family sources said that the dead body of Adnan Aurangzeb has been shifted to his hometown Saidu Sharif in Swat where his funeral rituals will be offered.
Miangul Adnan Aurangzeb was an engineer and the current head of the former Swat princely state. He is the eldest son of Miangul Aurangzeb (Waliahad Saib) and Grandson of Miangul Jahan Zeb (Wali Saib) the last royal ruler of Swat.
After the death of his father in 2014, he has become the unofficial Wāli of Swat. His maternal grandfather is the former President of Pakistan Ayub Khan.
He studied at the primary level within the Sangota Public School system in Sangota, Swat. He graduated from Aitchison College, an elite Pakistani secondary school. He is a professional electrical engineer who studied in the United States at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. He has served in the Pakistani parliament as a member of parliament from 1997 to 1999.
Miangul Adnan Aurangzeb is currently the volunteer spokesperson for Project Miracles an initiative to recover and recycle plastic waste from the Indus Valley.
