Bank manager shot dead by friend over monetary dispute in Lahore

A bank manager was abducted and later shot dead by his friend over a monetary dispute in Lahore, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.
The police with the help of Safe City cameras were able to arrest the murderer.
According to SP Model Town Ikhlaqullah Tarar, murderer Abdullah Shahid rang up his friend Ahsan Saleem on Sunday and then forcibly took him to his Walton Road House where both the friends has a tiff over a money dispute.
An angry Abdullah shot his friend dead and threw his dead body into the canal near Harbanspura.
The police traced the murderer in Walton with the help of Safe City cameras and other resources.
The SP Model Town said Ahsan Saleem was bank manager at Bank of Punjab (BoP) Gulberg Branch. A police team led by SHO Gulberg arrested the accused, he added.
The SP further said that a murder case has been registered against Abdullah Shahid and further investigation was under way. Anybody taking law into his hands will not escape the law, he added.
