PTI chief sends Rs10b damages notice to Patel over drugs, alcohol allegations

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has sent a Rs10 billion damages notice to Federal Health Minister Abdul Qadir Patel over the allegations of drugs and alcohol in his medical report, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The notice was sent by PTI’s lawyer Abuzar Salman Niazi.
The notice asked Abdul Qadir Patel to withdraw his allegations within 15 days and immediately apologise to the PTI chairman.
It also asked Abdul Qadir Patel to pay Rs10 billion as damages to the PTI chairman which will be deposited in Shaukat Khanum Hospital.
“If Abdul Qadir Patel does not apologise, legal action will be taken against him,” it warned.
