Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar and Colonies Minister Fayyazul Hasan Chohan had a meeting on Monday.
They discussed the political situation in wake of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), a campaign launched by an alliance of the opposition parties to oust the Prime Minister Imran Khan-led government. Fayyazul Hassan shared with Usman Buzdar with the performance of his ministry. The CM called the PDM a ‘gang of looters’, saying since ‘unnatural’ union of the opposition parties is aimed at saving their looted money.”
He said the government allowed them to hold PDM meeting in Multan after having removed all hurdles but they could not gather a few thousand people thus the flopped show in Multan is writing on the wall. He continued: “The PTI has given a new identity to southern Punjab. After the establishment of a separate secretariat, public problems are being solved there. “Oblivious of the future, some elements have been trying to mislead the people, but people would not be fooled at the moment. The PTI will complete its term.”
Fayyaz said the opposition should show patience and wait for the upcoming elections. They should not spread coronavirus, the colonies minister said, adding that the Multan meeting exposed the PDM’s strength and the people of Multan rejected them.
