Upgradation of narrow-body aircraft facility earns Islamabad airport Rs136 million

The Pakistan Airport Authority (PAA) said on Saturday that the Islamabad International Airport had earned an additional income of Rs136 million under the head of Passenger Boarding Bridges following an upgradation of the narrow-body aircraft facility at the airport, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

It said that the project had also facilitated the passengers.   

The PAA said that in the first phase, three wide-body bridges had been made operational for narrow-body aircraft operations, and soon five more such bridges would be made operational for the purpose.    

Thus, the Authority added, in all, eight wide-body bridges would be ready for narrow-body flight operations.
