Huge explosion at grid station in Shikarpur, 4 employees got burn injuries

A huge explosion occurred in the electricity feeder yard in the 132kv grid station in Shikarpur, 24News HD TV Channel reported on Sunday.
According to the Southern Electric Power Company Limited (SEPCO) officials, four employees got burn injuries in the explosion.
The SEPCO official said injured employees have been immediately shifted to Civil Hospital for medical treatment while the rescue operation is going on at the grid station.
As per the police, the condition of an employee of the electric company is said to be critical and has been referred to Sukkur for better treatment.
SEPCO Shikarpur XEN said that the repair work of the store feeder was going on at the grid station when the trolley of the feeder exploded due to a flush out.
The XEN added that a committee is being formed to further investigate the blast.
