Man tortures female polio worker, cop in Lahore

Violence against polio workers could not stop as a man along with his accomplices tortured polio workers including policeman in Ward No.8 Kahna area of Lahore, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

According to police, policeman Muhammad Bilal and Shamim Akhtar were tortured while administering polio drops in the area.

Police said, the polio team knocked on the door of the house of a man named Moon.

As soon as the citizen came out, he started abusing the polio team and the other accomplices of the accused also tore the clothes of polio worker Bilal and Shamim.

However, the victims filed a complaint with the police.
