Anti-Khwarij op: Troops kill 12 terrorists in Tirah

Troops killed 12 terrorists in the Tirah Valley of the Khyber district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Friday.

“Since August 20, 2024, security forces are conducting extensive intelligence-based operations (IBOs) against terrorists (Khwarij) in the Tirah valley of Khyber district,” the military media wing said.

It added: “On 28^th and 29^th of August, the troops effectively engaged the Khwarij’s locations where after intense fire exchange, 12 Khwarij of Fitna-Al-Khwarij were sent to hell.

“These operations have resulted in major setbacks to Fitna-Al-Khwarij and its affiliates, and so far, 37 terrorists have been sent to hell, while 14 suffered serious injuries."

The IBOs will continue till peace is restored to the area and Khawrij are eliminated, as the security forces of Pakistan are determined to wipe out terrorism from the country, the ISPR said.
