Woman dies after failing to find ventilator at Lahore’s top hospital

All tall claims made by Punjab Health Minister Dr Yasmin Rashid that the patients are being looked after at the province’s hospitals, lay exposed when an aged woman died at Lahore’s Mayo Hospital on Friday due to the non-availability of a ventilator, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The family members of 60-year-old Anwar Bibi, who was admitted to hospital’s Surgical Tower, ran from pillar to post in search of a ventilator for eight hours, but in vain.
What was more ironic was that when her family members went to the emergency ward, they did not find a ventilator even there.
