Former interior minister Sheikh Rasheed has cried foul after his nomination papers were rejected on Saturday, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported
“Today I was called to the RO office on half an hour's notice,” Sheikh Rasheed said in a video message.
The Awami Muslim League chief said he was accused of staying at Murree Guesthouse without paying dues, concealing assets and evading tax.
he added: “I have never stayed in any guesthouse in Murree… I was even ready to pay for it."
"I have never concealed my assets," he said and cited a Supreme Court verdict in this connection.
He also rejected the tax evasion allegations and said he would approach the court.
