OGRA announces cut in LPG price for month of January

The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) on Tuesday notified decrease in the price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) for the month of January across Pakistan.
According to the notification, OGRA has decreased the LPG price by Rs4 per kg. The new LPG price will be Rs250.28 per kg from January 1. The price of an LPG cylinder for domestic use has been decreased by Rs47 and the price of an LPG cylinder for commercial use has been decreased by Rs182.
The official per metric tonne production cost of LPG has now decreased by Rs4,020. The domestic cylinder will be now sold at Rs2,953 instead of Rs3,001 and commercial cylinder will be sold at Rs11,363 instead of Rs11,545.
