Maryam feels for traders, wants power bills sales tax withdrawn

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice-President Maryam Nawaz has urged Finance Minister Miftah Ismail to withdraw the power bill sales tax.
She took to Twitter and urged the finance minister to ‘withdraw tax on electricity bills’. “Businesspersons are complaining this step of the federal government is adding to their problems,” she tweed.

She expressed hope that the federal minister find a way to get the problem fixed
The traders have been raising concerns about sales tax on electricity bills, saying business activities were already affected due to an increase in production charges of different items and commodities.
