Edhi Foundation has announced to offer Rs 25,000 monthly as financial assistance to 70 students of Palestine who are studying in different cities of Pakistan amid Gaza crisis, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
This development comes when 20 Palestine students from Karachi and Hyderabad met with Edhi Foundation chairman Faisal Edhi on Saturday.
Faisal Edhi said that the students' families used to send money to their siblings every month for education.
Now, the banking system in Gaza has been completely destroyed due to the Israeli aggression and Gaza citizens cannot send their children's education expenses, Faisal Edhi elaborated.
