In an atmosphere imbued with warmth and dignity, the Lahore Gymkhana witnessed a momentous occasion as the Lahore Chapter of the Karim Khan Afridi Welfare Foundation (KKAWF) was ceremoniously inaugurated, marking a significant milestone in the organization's journey.

This significant event marks a new chapter in the organization's mission to uplift and support communities, reinforcing its commitment to humanitarian causes. The ceremony was orchestrated by former Ambassador Mansoor Ahmed Khan, whose tireless efforts and unwavering dedication have been instrumental in realizing this noble initiative. Ambassador Khan’s leadership and vision have galvanized support and resources, ensuring the successful establishment of KKAWF in Lahore.

The organization, which has made significant strides in Islamabad, now extends its impactful programs to Lahore, promising to bring positive change to countless lives. In his keynote address, Ambassador Mansoor Ahmed Khan emphasized the importance of collective action and community involvement in addressing social challenges.

The ceremony featured poignant speech by Cristine Von Sperling Afridi, Chairperson of KKAWF attending the ceremony as a special guest. She made a detailed presentation on KKAWF’s initiatives in Islamabad and around, and testimonials from beneficiaries whose lives have been transformed by the organization's programs.

The event also provided a platform for attendees to pledge their support and learn more about how they can contribute to the cause. Philanthropists, community leaders, and supporters including Commander ANF Punjab Brig Sikandar Hayat Choudhry, Begum Nasreen Kasuri, Chairperson Beaconhouse Schools, Begum Farzana Ali, Chairperson City Schools and Begum Parveen Sarwar, wife of former Governor Punjab attended the ceremony.
