Punjab CM Maryam announces to distribute 300 super-seeders among farmers

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has announced that her government is distributing 300 super-seeders among the farmers, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Addressing a function at Kalashah Kaku Agricultural Research Center near Lahore on Thursday, Maryam Nawaz said that Punjab government will give a total of 1,000 super-seeders to farmers across Punjab.
The Chief Minister said that super seeders do four things simultaneously including fertilizer and seeds.
Maryam Nawaz said that the path of development of Punjab passes through the agriculture fields and agriculture has an important role in the development of the country.
Everyone has to play their role to end smog, Maryam Nawaz stressed.
Burning crops in Indian Punjab has increased smog in Pakistan, Maryam Nawaz said.
She said smog can be controlled if the Indian government also brings such plans for farmers.
There will be no need to burn crop residue after use of super seeders, Maryam Nawaz further said.
The CM said that Punjab government will give subsidy of Rs800000 for purchase of super seeders and the super seeders project is about Rs7 billion.
Maryam Nawaz said as many as 1.6 million applications have been received for tractors scheme.
The Chief Minister said Pakistan has come out of global isolation and world leaders are coming to Pakistan for investment.
The country has suffered a lot, there is more work and less time for restoration, Maryam Nawaz said.
