Manjeet Singh, a well-known sculptor in the Moga District in Indian Punjab, has made a statue of Pakistani folk singer Shaukat Ali, who has been popular for his Punjabi singing and passed away in Lahore on Friday (April 2, 2021).

Manjeet has made Shaukat Ali’s statue to express his love for the late Pakistani singer and plans to install it in a city of the Indian Punjab. Manjeet says he has been a big fan of Shaukat Ali’s Punjabi singing and he started working on his statue after he heard the news of his passing. He said it took him a full day to make Shaukat Ali’s statue.

Manjeet has already made statues of many well-known Pakistani and Indian figures. Earlier, he made a statue of Pakistani Punjabi poet Baba Najmi. This statue was later installed at the Mahan Desh Bhagat Park in Punjab.
