Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairperson has said a compromise on the constitution is out of the question, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday.

“We cannot under any circumstances compromise on the constitution,” he tweeted, adding that the supreme court must rise to the challenge and prove the constitution is more than a piece of paper.

“If we can’t implement the constitution on the floor of the National Assembly, we can’t dream of constitutional supremacy anywhere else.

“We set out on a mission to force free & fair election. Through a vote of no confidence, electoral reforms, and early elections.

"Were all set to achieve that. Imran’s coup undermines NCM, electoral reforms but forces yet another compromised election.

Silver lining Selected is GONE!"
