Punjab School Education Department has been considering extending the winter holidays till January 13 amid harsh weather conditions and spread of Covid-19 Omicron variant, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

It means that the school-going students will be celebrating their holidays for another week now if the authorities decide to extend the closing date of the vacations from January 6 to 13.

Right now, the winter holidays are only until January 6.
