In a recent revelation, prominent Indian critic Ashok Swain has drawn attention to the controversial actions of the ruling Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) and its devout followers who have conferred god-like status upon Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, in a recent tweet on Saturday, Swain's critique centres on the installation of a statue of Modi in a temple, where he is now being worshipped.

Ashok Swain shared a video clip in the tweet that highlights the Modi worship taking place in the temple. He expressed his astonishment by remarking, "Modi has become a God and got a temple now." Swain went on to criticize this development, stating, "Hindu supremacists have turned India and Hinduism into a big joke".
The video in question showcases a temple erected in Rajkot, dedicated to Prime Minister Modi, with fervent support from BJP loyalists. It has also come to light that some devotees have initiated the practice of worshipping him within this temple.
