During an armed clash between two rivals in village Thatta Jahid Hassan Wala in Hafizabad, some men struck the eyes of two men belonging to their rival group with a sharp blade making them blind, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.

The fight started over a petty issue. The rivals opened fire on each other. Some armed men struck the eyes of two of their rivals with a sharp blade, injuring them severely and rendering them blind.

The injured duo was referred to a Lahore hospital due to their critical condition.

The intense exchange of fire between the rivals created a sense of panic in the area.

Police reached the crime scene and started an investigation.

They are also raiding the area to arrest the accused.
