Pak-Egyptian resolve to continue working together to enhance cooperation in defence

The 14th round of the Pakistan-Egypt Military Cooperation Committee meeting was held here on Wednesday.

Acting Defence Secretary Major General Amer Ashfaq Kayani led the Pakistani delegation, while the Egyptian delegation was led by Assistant Head of the Armed Forces Operations Authority for Civil and Military Coordination Abdel Rehman Abdel Rahman Mahmoud Wahdan.

During the meeting, issues of mutual interest including all areas of bilateral defence cooperation were discussed.

Issues related to defence training, delegation visits and joint production of defence equipment came under discussion.

The two sides reiterated their commitment to continue working together to enhance cooperation in defence and security-related areas.

 The 15th session of the Pakistan-Egypt Military Cooperation Committee will be held in Egypt.
