Mohsin Naqvi pays tribute to martyrs on eve of Defense Day

Federal Interior Minister Senator Mohsin Naqvi said September 6, 1965, is an unforgettable day in Pakistan's history, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel on Friday. 

In his message on Defence Day, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi paid tribute to the everlasting sacrifices of the great martyrs of Pakistan. 

The interior minister said that on September 6, Pakistan's brave armed forces defended the motherland with full might, and the cowardly enemy who attacked under the cover of darkness was given a crushing response by the Pakistan Army. The valiant soldiers of the Pakistan Armed Forces repelled the enemy with unparalleled bravery.

Mohsin Naqvi emphasised that the sacrifices of the martyrs and the courage and bravery of the military personnel are our identity and pride, which will always be remembered. 

He noted that the youth of the nation, through their timeless sacrifices, proved that wars are not won with weapons but with faith and resolve. He added that the entire nation salutes the brave soldiers who laid down their lives for the defence of the homeland. 

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said this day reminds us of the bravery and determination of our military personnel, and today, we reaffirm our commitment to defend the nation, even at the cost of our lives.
