Police on Tuesday arrested a rape accused and conducting raid to arrest his accomplice. The duo have allegedly gang raped a teen age girl in Jhelum, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to police, two accused kidnapped a 16-year-old girl from the limits of Kala Gujran police station and took her to an empty house where they sexually assaulted her. 

The initial medical report confirmed that the girl was raped.

After registering the case, police arrested an accused and were making raids for the arrest of another rapist. 

DPO Nasir Bajwa vowed that his department was following a zero tolerance policy on crimes like rape cases.
