Tiger mauls ox after it spreads terror in Haripur’s residential areas

A tiger, which only a few days ago had injured a man and his son, who were going on a motorcycle, near Muslimabad in Khanpur tehsil of Haripur in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), once again spread terror when it entered Baghpur Dheri, Kalali Sharif, Bagra Syedan and Muslimabad localities and mauled an ox belonging to a farmer, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
The incident has once again spread terror in these areas whose residents have questioned inaction on the part of the Wildlife Department, saying the entry of the wild animal in residential areas not only posed a threat to the people’s lives but also to their cattle.
They have urged the department to take notice of the matter and shift the lion somewhere else.
