Split in PML-N: Workers storm Karachi office

Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) workers Sunday occupied Muslim League House and tore up the leaders’ posters in Karachi.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, charged workers of the PML-N were annoyed on the unjust distribution of the party tickets among blue-eyed of the provincial leadership.
The aggressive mob of the political workers was led by PML-N Karachi Division President Salman Khan, Senior Vice President Asmat Anwar Mehsood and Aman Afridi.
The protesters chanted slogans against PML-N Sindh leaders especially Miftah Ismail, Shah Muhammad Shah, Ali Akbar Gujjar and Raja Ansari and others.
They tore up the photos, posters and banners of Miftah Ismail and other committee members and provincial leaders of their party placed inside the Muslim League House located at Karsaz in Karachi.
The protesting workers rejected the committee formed for the cantonment election and demanded the central leadership to form a new committee to redistribute the tickets.
Shehbaz takes notice
PML-N President Mian Shahbaz Sharif has called the tickets distributing committee members including Miftah Ismail and the protesters' leaders Salman Khan to Lahore.
On the other hand, PML-N Secretary General Ahsan Iqbal issued show-cause notice to the party’s Karachi Division President Salman Khan for his violent agitation in the Muslim League Hosue.
In the notice, the PML-N Secretary also sought Salman Khan’s reply within next seven days otherwise his party membership would be cancelled.
