A 13-year-old boy in Hajiwala, a suburban village of Narowal, committed suicide by hanging himself with a rope after quarreling with his elder brother, leaving his parents shattered, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

Police said Muhammad Umar Afzal, who was a student in class 7th, had a scuffle with his 15-year-old brother Usman, a student in class 9th, while playing a game.

Later Usman left for the bazaar along with his mother.

The boys’ father Muhammad Afzal lives abroad to earn a livelihood.

Two traffic police personnel fired

On the order of DPO, Narowal, two traffic police personnel, who were found involved in corrupt practices, were terminated from service while 11 were suspended.

Meanwhile, some startling revelations have been made during an investigation into corruption charges against these personnel.

It has been found out that they would receive money from the people in their personal easy paisa accounts for issuing them driving licenses.

Apart from that, they would also receive monthlies from restaurant owners, businessmen and others by challaning them over the violation of one-way.
