Patch-up with Aamir Liaquat was on the cards, says Dania’s mother

Salma Bibi, mother of Dania Malik, third wife of late Dr Aamir Liaquat Hussain, expressed her grief over his demise and said while speaking to 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday that they were trying to reconcile Dania with Aamir Liaquat.
“Was Dr Aamir Liaquat disheartened by Dania’s decision to divorce him?” questioned the reporter of 24NewsHD TV channel to which Salma Bibi replied: “We are deeply saddened by the death of Dr Aamir Liaquat. We were trying to reach a reconciliation between the two after Dania’s decision to divorce Aamir.”
She said, “We had asked for a few days from Aamir Liaquat for a patch-up. He had been sending messages full of love to Dania for the past few days.”
She added, “We will leave to perform the last rites of Dr Aamir.”
In a message, Dania said she was heart-broken after hearing the news of Aamir's death. "May Allah make his journey easier and forgive his sins," she added.
