Former KEMC Principal Prof Kh Saadiq Hussain passes away

A legendary teacher, mentor of the medical profession, ex-principal of  King Edward Medical College, and former president of CPSP Prof Dr Khawaja Saadiq Husain passed away on Sunday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

His funeral prayer will be offered after the Zuhar prayer on Monday at Abid Majeed Road, Cannt, Lahore.   

After Lt. Col. Ilahi Bakhsh and Professor Akhtar Khan,  he served the longest period as principal of King Edward Medical College and Dean of Faculty of Medicine of the University of the Punjab from 1981 to 1986.

Prof Khawaja Saadiq Husain had a keen interest in Medical education. Through his dynamic approach, the program of medical education workshops
was carried forward with new zeal.

His affection towards his students remains unprecedented. He has been the senior most Kemcolian and deeply loved King Edward Medical University.
