Kohat jirga to review law and order situation of Kurram underway

Khyber Pukhtoonkhwa (KP) Governor Faisal Kundi on Sunday presided over a special jirga convened to review the law and order situation in Kurram in Commissioner’s House Kohat, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The jirga was started with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Professor Ibrahim Khan of Jamaat-e-Islami, while Commissioner Kohat Mohtasim Ali Shah started proceedings of the jirga.
At the start of jirga, participants offered fatha for the dead victims and prayed for the early recovery of injured persons.
Earlier, Khyber Pukhtoonkhwa (KP) Governor Faisal Karim Kundi, along with political leadership, left for Kohat to take part in jirga. Provincial President of PML (N) and Federal Minister Amir Muqam, Mian Iftikhar Hussain of NAP, Aftab Sherpao from QWP, and Hafiz Abdul Rafay from JUI (S) also accompanied the Governor.
