Security forces on Sunday killed three terrorists when they were trying to infiltrate the Pakistan- Afghanistan border in the general area of Batwar, Bajaur District, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.
During the conduct of the operation, after an intense fire exchange between security forces and the terrorists, 'three terrorists' were sent to hell," according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
Weapons, ammunition, and explosives were also recovered from the killed terrorists.
In another incident on Saturday night terrorists from inside Afghanistan, opened fire on a Pakistani Border Post in the general area of Spinwam, North Waziristan District.
Our troops responded in a befitting manner causing considerable losses to the terrorists. However, during the exchange of fire, Naik Abdul Rauf (age: 31 years, resident of: District Rahim Yar Khan), having fought gallantly, embraced Shahadat.
Pakistan has consistently been asking the Interim Afghan government to ensure effective border management on their side of the border.
The interim Afghan government is expected to fulfill its obligations and deny the use of Afghan soil by terrorists for perpetrating acts of terrorism against Pakistan.
